Everything you need to write about us.

Logos, screenshots, the boilerplate, the numbers, and a working contact. For journalists, podcasters, newsletter writers, and anyone covering the quantified-self space.

Anthracite is a personal correlations engine for iOS. It reads your habits, nutrition, finances, and activity together and surfaces the cross-stream patterns that single-domain apps miss — like how takeout spend affects sleep, or how mid-afternoon caffeine affects deep sleep duration.

Built around a privacy-first architecture: all math happens on-device, with Apple Health as the source of truth. No data is uploaded to servers, used for model training, or shared with third parties. Local-only operation is a first-class option, not a downgrade.

Founded in 2025. Headquartered in Mexico City. Self-funded.

"Most health apps share a recommendation model. Anthracite doesn't run one. The patterns are surfaced by math, not by what we think you should hear."
Alex Vidal, founder · on the editorial posture
"The local-only mode isn't a privacy fig leaf. It's how the product is designed by default. If you choose it, the data never leaves the device — and the engine still works."
Alex Vidal, founder · on data architecture
